Y's Men's
In 1971 the Y's Men of the Spencer Family YMCA bought 8 ice cream stands..today the Y's Men have increased their stands to 13. So almost any direction that you go at the Fair you can have a Clay County Fair favorite - a nutty bar or two or three or...
Locations range from the east gate to the west gate to under the Grandstand, in the Commercial building, in the Ag. building to the Varied Industries building. The stands can be recognized by the YMCA logo & Nutty Bar painted on the front.
Products at the stands include pop, popcorn, candy, gum, orange & lemonade drink, ice cream and of course our famous nutty bars.
Over 400 volunteers head up the Y's Men stands under the supervision of 70 Y's Men. Many of you know the great work that has been done by the Y's Men's Club, in behalf of the Spencer Family YMCA. Y's Men's Club funds have been used to purchase equipment, finance construction and fund many programs.

2008-2009 Meeting Schedule
August 4th: Dinner at 4:30
September 2nd: Fair clean up at 4pm
Dinner at Pizza Ranch at 6pm
September 17th: Fair Clean up at 3pm
We will meet at the commercial building on the fair grounds
September 22nd: Golf outing at 4pm
Dinner served at 6pm at the Spencer Municipal Golf course
October 6th: Dinner served at 5:30
We will meet at Each Leach Park (shelter house)
November 10th: Thanksgiving Dinner at 5:30
